My recent stay at Fullabrook Farm Retreat, The Shepherdess Hut was an absolute gem. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the idyllic hillside setting in the peaceful countryside. The attention to detail in the hut was impeccable, with high-quality amenities and thoughtful touches throughout. I was pleasantly surprised to find a well-stocked kitchen, board games, blankets, and even a firepit pre-filled with logs and kindling. It was truly a perfect stay.
Although the WiFi wasn't the strongest, I anticipated this and it was stable enough for basic needs. Additionally, the path from the car park was a bit steep and covered in shingles, which may be a consideration for those with mobility concerns.

The towels and linen were clean and of excellent quality, and the bed was fantastically comfortable. Another highlight was the use of a fire pit and/or BBQ, which added to the overall experience.
There were a few minor things to be aware of. on hot days it took some effort to cool down the hut, although they did provide a high-quality fan.
